Leopard 1A1A1 and 1A1A2

Model: Soviet Man/Kevin
Skin: Ice Bear/gagarin

As we were re-working the Leopard 1A1A2 originally done by Soviet Man (rotating wheels, small (tiny) details, volumetric caterpillar, etc), gagarin pointed out that the Leopard 1A1A2 we had been using from CSLA 1.0 was indeed a Leopard 1A1A1 because it didn't feature the light amplifier PZB 200 (a passive aiming and observation instrument). That's why I added to the original model that detail and we kept the old one (with the new rotating wheels and so on) as the 1A1A1.

So now we have the 1A1A1 and 1A1A2. The gameplay difference is just the 'Sight', which is smaller in the 1A1A1. The problem about doing that kind of details is that you invest many time on them to be legal and accurate, but then they are barely seen in-game... Plus I kept the original CSLA skins and we added the green ones done by gagarin for the same reason I stated when we were talking about the Gepard. The 'Green Leopards' feature an additional frontal appliqué armour, and that's why they have extra HP and some extra 'front armour'.

Enough talking for now, this one took us a while.

Renewed URAL-375 ATZ-5

Model: Soviet Man/Kevin
Skin: gagarin

We've renewed this model that had already been included in CSLA 2.0. The old model, coming from the T-34 Mod for TDA: CC, had both an unaccurated geometry and skin. Here's the new one:

DOWNLOAD: Street lamps

At the beginning of the summer gagarin asked me to create one 3D model for a street lamp (it's basically a cyilinder with several subdivisions, not a big deal) and he painted it. As he requested, I have turned that lamp into its 2D object like I did with the straw bales. I hope you like them!

I decided to try to create that kind of object, and since I am not a 2D artist what I did was creating a 3D object (basically a cylinder, whose vertex and faces I corrected so that the figure wasn't perfect and I smoothed with the Maya tool for that purpose), then I skin it using images found on the internet of real bales of straw (plus some basic Photoshop editing). Finally I took a screenshot of the object in several position and created the final result here depicted:
